In a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic society where the risk is that diversity will create division rather than understanding, there is an urgent need to provide new educational tools for future generations, which can help them to accept differences, contrasting attitudes and a wide diversity of values and viewpoints. It does not matter whether the person concerned is a foreigner, someone with a different religious background or simply a local person with completely different opinions.
